Derek’s cloudy upbringing made him see a vision that would enable him to accomplish things that no one else could ever imagine! He would WIN 2 High School District Titles, an NCAA Championship, A Gold Medal in the Jr Olympics, as well as winning an NBA Title after his Dad walks out of his life at age 10, and his mother leaves him alone in an empty apartment at age 11. His Life Story is so impactful that it will be shared Nationwide on ESPN’s award-winning documentary series, 30 for 30 in 2023.
